Why is Diaco petrified to pass?

In Jim Calhoun's early days at UConn, Paul Westhead was running the show at Loyola-Marymount with a run-and-gun offense, putting up 120 points a game, at times approaching 150 points. It's too bad coach Calhoun didn't see what Westhead was doing and consider doing the same here. We could have scored a lot more points over the years than we did.
