Pg play: Mo Jeff over Allen by a decent amount.

Wing Play: McBride and Lloyd slightly better than Bria and KML

Post play: Stewe and Dolson significant advantage over Braker and Achonwa

Bench - backcourt "advantage plus" Mabrey
Bench frontcourt slight advantage Stokes.

Stewie is a tough matchup for ND. Who guards her? Or use a junk defense?

Kara Lawson in the post game of the UCONN / Louisville game was asked by her cohost who could beat UCONN. She said ND. She mentioned they had great wing players in Loyd and McBride, weren't afraid of UCONN. Then abruptly stopped like catching herself and said Stewart. UCONN has Stewart. Notre Dame can't stop her, then again, no one can stop her. She then said UCONN is better. UCONN is the best team.

That's all there is, the difference maker, like last year when we told all those ND fans that it was going to be a different team when they met the fourth time. The reason was Stewart. They found out soon enough and if perchance they meet, they will find out again. Forget the rest of the metrics and match ups. It is Stewart. That's all we need to know.

I see it as Allen Jefferson advantage UConn
Lloyd Hartley even
McBride KML advantage Notre Dame
Braker Stewart advantage Stewart
Achonwa Dolson even
Bench Bench advantage Notre Dame

Thses teams are very evenly matched and it will be a very close game either way if {when} they meet.

I pretty much agree especially if they played a seven game series.

I think the key to this game/series is if the player(s) who guard Stewart could shut her down offensively and keep her off the boards.

No one can guard Stewart
Perhaps, no one can guard Loyd (especially if she's really feeling it).

But even with McBride and Achonwa, UConn starters deeper.

Allen and Braker are not at the level of Mo and KML

So again it's 5 against 3.

Interesting thread. I just spoke to a co-worker, who suggested that the NCAA cancel the tournament and set up a seven game series between UConn and ND, then I saw this thread.
