Walt Frazier, Cazzie Russell and the rest of the Knicks.
Those were my first two (from late in the year before they won their first title), during the 1970 title run I added basically the remainder of the team, with Willis sharing first place with Clyde.

That was how it was back in the day though. You picked out a guy and tried to mimic everything about him. It was particularly noticeable in Little League when you're seeing kids imitating the batting routines of their heroes.
For little league...i wanted to mimic mike greenwell's swing...but i was more of a...

I was a big Laker fan growing up. Loved Wilt,Jerry, Goodrich, Hairston, Nixon, Magic, Kareem, Wilkes, etc.
Watched the Knicks religiously with Clyde and his crew and then BK.

Had a Dr. J poster from his ABA days.

Bob McAdoo was the first NBA player I watched a bunch of and learned a double clutch mid-air jumper as a result. As a teen it was purely a horse shot, but later actual in-game applications and ancillary benefit of practicing jumping.
