Abrosimova's folks to come from Russia for her senior game. The message from UConn was clear...don't.
They came for that night...heart-breaking that Svet had been injured at LadyVol and didn't play the rest of the year.
I think she was still on crutches that night.
Geno has called that team [2000-2001] the most talented team he has ever had. No Svet...No Shea Ralph...for The Dance...went to final four and lost to ND with [kind of] a second half melt-down.

I'm with you, I have a feeling they might surprise her!
That would be great. If not though, the entire team walking out with her would be pretty special and emotional for her I'd imagine as well.
That would be Amazing if that happened. She seems like a really special young lady and would deserve a special farewell like that. If not, then seeing the TEAM walk her out would be pretty special and I believe a first for the program..(?)

The NIL deals have been very loose regarding what the money is for and how it can be spent. Believe it has to be from a "US based firm" but with many international companies, even that is sometimes hard to define. If available, would be great for NIL to allow Dorka to pay for trip herself.A wealthy UConn benefactor should offer to fly her entire family to Storrs for Senior Day 2023 !!!

If I'm Dorka, and my parents could not attend, there would be NO ONE I'd rather have escort me on the the floor than ALL of my teammates (including Aubrey if she's there). If THAT doesn't bring a tear to your eye, you're nasty, spiteful, and incapable of having even a modicum compassion.
