Who is the key UConn player in the 4 titles who is almost never talked about?

Niels Giffey. Lockdown in national championship game in 2011 and damn near led the country in 3p% in 2014, went cold during the tourney a lil but still hit some BIG shots.

Well, the lack of detail in the original post makes it really hard to identify who he’s referring to. I’ll throw a name out there: Charlie Villanueva. For a guy who averaged 8.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks on a championship team, and then played 11 seasons in the NBA, he doesn’t get discussed a whole lot.

I'm thinking one of Kevin Freeman, Edmund Saunders or D'Andre Daniels. Though I don't think Saunders contributed more than Voskuhl.

I like this "reference" site because you can easily pull up the year, schedule, roster.

I always think of Soulman because no one mentions him and that was one of the criteria the OP stated. Not sure he has the numbers but he was so solid.

Just realized today that there's one player who I almost never see discussed on this board. A player who was a key to one of the four championships. Occasionally people will mention Jake Voskuhl, Josh Boone, Tyler Olander or Niels Giffey here, but the player I'm thinking of -- who is almost never mentioned -- was a bigger contributor to a championship than these 4.

Why don't we talk about him?

Who am I thinking of?
