For the last goshdarn time. Ray Allen wants to retire (or maybe come back) in peace. He does his own thing. Let the man be. He will never be a head coach here.

Great players rarely make good, let alone great, coaches. Allen doesn't have the first clue about recruiting and he is incomparable to Chris Mullin. Mullin spend 7 of his 9 post retirement years in an NBA front office.

Dudley Moore, Doug Flutie, Tom Cruise, Mugsy Bogues are all short.

Tom Moore has does nothing to be considered for a top Div. 1 job.

Please correct me if I am wrong but isn't Tom credited with being the recruiting master for many of the past UConn greats?

Scott Brooks is the best available coach .
Scott Brooks has never coached at college level and has never won a National Championship. It puts him behind the eight ball in regards to recruiting. Ollie is a better college coach than Brooks.

Its all moot anyway. The job's not open and whatever short list Warde Manuel had, will change based on next year's movements.

That's great, but in 8 years at QU he hasn't made the program any better.

Don't know about recruiting but eventually a HC has to coach and win.
