I'm neither joking nor criticizing you.

I don't know what you mean by "it," or what you are referring to as "Just horrible luck for us."
The 3 that sent us to OT. You referenced it towards the end of your post.

Polly. I wasn't sure if he'd get the minutes, I thought he might get crowded out, but he's upped his game and will probably continue to log minutes. His outside shooting has been a killer for us. A smooth player right now

How could Akok be a surprise as highly rated as he was as a prep .

Even highly rated bigs usually struggle as freshman. Adams is the most surprising, but Akok is second. If not his quality of play, his demeanor and approach to the game are precociously and surprisingly mature.

Adams hands down. Especially after a freshman year that looked like he didn’t belong.

He was ranked 92nd

.-.
Akok was ranked top 30.

Really? I just checked and that's where they had him. I still say he has shown more than most big men ranked in that range. Compare him to Roscoe who was around 40, who even had a Duke offer.

After the summer he jumped to around 25 but when he left Putnam and enrolled early at UConn they dropped him. I know one of the services had him unranked.

Has to be Adams for me as well for all the reasons mentioned above but Akok and Bouknight seem to both have that refusal to lose attitude that I think will help us in the more competitive games coming up. Nothing against the rest of the team we just know what we were getting from them coming in. And whaleys jump shot is a bonus!

Adams - hands down. I was hoping he'd do this by *maybe* his senior year. He's just a really good piece to have and we're gonna have him for two more years after this, too. It's good stuff.

Adams doesn't even look like the same player as last season. His strength and confidence are just leaps and bounds better.

This team has a true nine man rotation
