She's started both games in the playoffs. The last game against the Dream was telling in that Feibich started over Sloot.
Both teams favored to advance in the poll lost Game 1.
A home team (Lynx) that loses Game 1 in a best of 5 WNBA Semi-Final series has a 4-2 record.
An away team (Aces) that loses Game 1 in a best of 5 WNBA Semi-Final series has a 2-8 record.

Fiebich's length gives other teams problems on offense and defense. A good 3 pt shooter, and quick enough on defense to bother guards. Young, Plum, and Gray had a lot of trouble getting good looks against the Liberty size.Although I was happy to see improved defense overall and especially perimeter defense from the Liberty, I was surprised how they took it up a notch in this close out game. Bodes well for their chances in the final because both Lynx and Sun have good defenses.
I am strongly leaning to a first Liberty championship. Fiebich replacing Sloot in the starting 5 is working but Sloot coming off the bench has stabilized the play when the bench comes in and, Sloot is not so tired when left in for crunch time. Good moves by the coach.
Really fast guards leaves her behind but the Liberty seems to have learned well how to cover for each other as well as switching. Stewie feels freer to sometimes roam on defense because JJ covers the post. But they take turns....just that Stewie is more mobile than JJ and faster afoot. Fiebich's length also helps when they switch among them.Fiebich's length gives other teams problems on offense and defense. A good 3 pt shooter, and quick enough on defense to bother guards. Fiebich also gives the Liberty another rebounder.
I don't think Fiebich is quick--at all. She is long, but she's at a disadvantage against relatively tall, quick guards like a Kahleah Copper. She can't recover once a player like that gets a step on her, and I think a lot of that has to do with her lack of speed (she also has a very odd defensive stance that makes it look like she's always hunched over--it's not good technique). I suspect that she's not a natural guard/perimeter defender but is being pushed into that role.Fiebich's length gives other teams problems on offense and defense. If Becky didn't coach the Aces and if KP didn't play for them, I'd root against them relentlessly. They are, IMO, noxious individuals. They are simply tolerated at this point.I'm not an Aces fan so I'll try to keep my glee in check. I think it's more I'm not a Becky or Kelsey fan because I'm an A'ja, Jackie fan. But I have glee nonetheless.
Love to see a Lynx/Liberty final.
By the same token those small quick guards are toast on the other end.I don't think Fiebich is quick--at all. The good thing about it from a Liberty standpoint is that there aren't too many 5'10-5'11 guards (e.g. Brittney Sykes types) who can burn her remaining in the playoffs. Neither the Lynx nor the Sun have a guard on the roster in that mold.

Depends on the guard.By the same token those small quick guards are toast on the other end.
And having 2 defenders with the speed and length of Stewie, and JJ makes her a great fit. Because both Stewie and JJ can come out of nowhere, and make a layup a turnover, the other way.
