It is incredible that UConn has won 3 NC's in 12 years. It is still hard to believe what type of job Calhoun has done overall. He played a huge part in transforming not only a program, but a university.
Couldn't agree more. And the longer he stays on and mentors Ollie, the more comfortable I think everyone is with KO as the successor.

Having said that, I'd think UCONN would be about 10 overall - but looking at the past 50 years is a pretty long time. Liked the comment about Syracuse feasting on the likes of Monmouth in the past...

Surely you jest....

'Bama: Nine conference titles, 7 sweet 16's and one Elite 8 in the past 50 years.

They came in at 47.

I guess that's doing well, since I was surprised that they even made it onto the list. No Final Fours, few SEC titles... they're behind Weber State, Davidson, and DePaul.

lol, it was a joke. the last time some one did rankings like this alabama came in real high for what was thought because they put a lot of weight on a couple nba all stars and poy type players which really inflated bamas numbers. bama fans were all about it in the comments i remember. hey were good at bball to blah blah shut up lol.

So there's 20 teams left I think I've got them off the top of my head (these aren't in order although I think the top 6 will play out like it's ordered). I'm not sure if I'm putting too much weight on recent history for a bunch of these bigger schools but they all end up in the tourney a ton, have a few conference titles and have been rather consistent over the years. Can't come up with who else would be up here this high. (Pitt? Butler? Temple?)

1.UCLA
2. UK
3. UNC
4. Dook
5. Ind
6. KU
7. UConn
8. Cuse
9. Nova
10. G'Town
11. Zona
12. Ville
13. Michigan St
14. Michigan
15. Washington
16. Ohio St
17. Wisconsin
18. Purdue
19. GT
20. Wake Forest

Looking at this I say we probably end up behind the top 6, as well as Ville, G'Town, MSU, at #10.

i saw, but i dont think your 2 far off as is.

i do question purdue tho as in it.
I can't figure out who's gonna be left out. I don't know a ton about a lot of these teams past the last 20 years or so but I figure if Weber State makes it on this thing then Purdue has to be, I'd think the same for Pitt but looking over it again I think they're probably off the list entirely.

According to ESPN, JaJaun Johnson played from 2997-11 for Purdue. Didn't know they included future players.

Utah tied with Purdue at 20, Memphis at 19.

I think we lose Washington off this list, as well as Wake Forest.

Michigan State at 11.......
That is really shocking to me. They have a couple titles and a lot of deep runs. Top 10 is awesome.

We should still be ahead of Arizona and Syracuse, I think. So #8, behind UCLA, Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, and Louisville.

Just as long as Cuse is not higher than us, because that would be a travesty! With their constant choking in the NCAA's, I'm surprised that they're in the top 10! But they have had an amazing amount of regular season wins.
