Alisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream.No. Who?
THANK YOU. I was here before she was born, but unfortunately I did not know her. I had a lot of people ask me when I had a Muffler shop in Griffin Ga. if I knew Herschal Walker, the football great at UGA. He went to high school there, but again I did not know him.Alisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream.

Until the first tip-off in November, we can use all the speculations & distractions we can get. This kind of idle speculation is wasteful and awful distraction.
I doubt Geno cares about that stuff. He'll be 70 this season, and you don't want to end up in a Boeheim situation.
I don’t think Geno gives a flip about that record. Only fans care about that record. He knows that he is the greatest of all time but every analysis except that one.NO! The only way Geno retires is when he passes Tara Van Devere in wins. He has a much better win percentage than Tara, but not the most wins in BB history. That's my take. GO GENO!!! GO HUSKIES!!!! Actually, I hope he never retires while I am alive and in 11 days I will be 90!
A question explored in the video below. I disagree with much of it, but it's late July and there is little to have fun with, SO
I think he wants to get through a single season with his entire team healthy. He needs that to win a championship. and we already know: that ain't happening this year.I think it depends. If UConn wins a couple of NC's with Buecker, then he might decide to go when she goes.
Have no idea if the total wins record means anything special to Geno and doubt he would even discuss it. That said the numbers are that he will enter the 23/24 season 6 wins behind Tara. Even with an undefeated UConn season how many losses would one reasonably place on the Stanford team? I checked and in the last 10 seasons Stanford has lost 6 or more games 6 times including 10 (14/15) 8 (15/16) and 11 (17/18). Anyone have some thoughts or aware of early projections for this season for Stanford? Just wondering.I don’t think Geno gives a flip about that record. Only fans care about that record. He cares about championships - and nobody is close. His legacy is already established.
Unfortunately, the way things are going he might be 103 before he has an entirely healthy team.I think he wants to get through a single season with his entire team healthy. He needs that to win a championship. and we already know: that ain't happening this year.
Dont mean to nitpick but he’ll be 69 for 99% of the upcoming season. Is he saying he’s leaving when Paige does, to recruits? Not so sure I like this thread.I doubt Geno cares about that stuff. He'll be 70 this season, and you don't want to end up in a Boeheim situation.
Oh well, 10 1/2 because Beoheim's championship has an asterisk next to it.Boeheim plus 10 championships
Here's the thing, Geno and Tara are close enough in win totals that which ever of them coaches longer will have that record. It's worth noting that Tara took many more seasons to accumulate her win total.Have no idea if the total wins record means anything special to Geno and doubt he would even discuss it. Both. I believe they needed what Jana was expected to add to the team to win it all. And, surely, Paige or someone will get injured again. Edwards is Edwards, but she is not enough. And Ice Brady is not tall and long. Don't misread me, I think the team ( if the rest remain healthy - good luck with this dream ) ) will be very good. Final Four good. But I don't think they can beat LSU without Jana adding valuable minutes. Mostly, I am thoroughly demoralized already. I really wanted to see Jana play. And now all we shall hear about is her 10 month recovery. That he doesn't have a healthy team or they won't win a championship?

They may not be completely healthy but they will still win a championship if the keep the rest together.I think he wants to get through a single season with his entire team healthy. He needs that to win a championship. and we already know: that ain't happening this year.
Jana was going to be a role player this year either way. She has skills but to think she was going to be the heart and soul of this years team is foolish. If they have Paige, Azzi and Edwards healthy they are better than any other team in the country. You add the defense of Nika and the rest of the cast and you have maybe one of the best UCONN teams ever.Both. I believe they needed what Jana was expected to add to the team to win it all.
