3 consecutive first downs on offense.
I’m more worried about Utah State getting 3 consecutive 1st downs. Our defense needs to play well for us to have a chance at winning.

Yeah, they need to pitch a shutout and grab a safety. Final score UConn 2-Utah St. 0.

Playing with emotion. That’s where I am at right now. This team looks like it already packed it in for the season - I want them to show the fans they will fight, win or lose. That’s the first step.

Safeties are rare, and so is a UConn touchdown. I think 3 field goals should do it. UConn 9-Utah St 0.

Win.
They've surprisingly dug themselves a hole and they've got to win to get out of it. That's progress. 1-4 is progress.

It's always darkest just before the dawn. Record 0-4. Devonte Houston bolts. We can't seem to catch a pass--or a break. That means this is our wake up game. Roberson shows why he was a highly recruited Penn St QB, pays back Utah St for his season ending injury in Logan, and the team wins by double digits.

Utah State is beatable from what saw in their lost to Air Force. Their defense had trouble stopping both the run and the pass. Utah pulled their starting quarterback early in the game and played a freshman quarterback who looked pretty good although he struggled when Air Force blitzed him. Their wide receivers have speed and do get open. Their run game didn't looked all that strong. Of course we have to play a lot better than we have played in our last 3 games.
