Respectfully, the criticism of Barnhart is a bit over the top. Conceding that the guy is no Cicero, his point is not that hard to understand. His view is that Matt Mitchell's value to the University of Kentucky cannot be measured by satisfaction or dissatisfaction with how the women's basketball program performs in a given year. While history tells us that that is an unusual position for an athletic director to adopt, it is not an unreasonable one.
