After the 99 Championship they sold pieces of the floor by the square foot. I bought 2, 2x2 foot square pieces (8 sq feet altogether). Came with a plaque showing where on the floor the pieces came from signed by Lew Perkins (I think it was LP). Price was $40 per square foot. My father in law (RiP) was a master carpenter and put them together as the top of a bar (4' x 2'). Sits in my basement as we speak. Just gorgeous.

all the name plates from the press conference after the 04 championship game autographed by each particular player and coach

(i think it was Ben, Emeka, Coach and one other person)

but i forget, they are in a bag somewhere

Not a momento but a memory: in 2000 I was at a golf tournament for the Jim Calhoun and the Nuns. There was about 300 people. When we sat down for lunch I noticed two nuns sitting at my table. In comes Calhoun and sits right damn next to me. We exchanged small talk for about 30 minutes.

Pee'd my pantz.

I have a 1996 promotional item with Ray's picture on the front. He signed it for me a couple of years ago on one of his (many) visits to campus. I also had a program from one of the games with Kemba's picture on the front which he signed for me before he was drafted. I sent it to my brother for his birthday & now it's one of HIS most treasured possessions...

I can try and take a pic with my iphone and post it soon. The 1999 ring has a huge "1" on the front in diamonds and a blue background.
Is it the exact same size as the players received? Were they all made of gold?

My favorite (and only) piece of memorabilia representing UConn would be the fob (pocket watch "pendant") in my avatar. Only undefeated gridiron football team we ever had so far and the year was 1924. Belonged to the starting center. He didn't start until that year, which was his senior year. Never seen another one anywhere.

Not in the sports department but my dad has a cigar from Fidel Castro. Not sure of the details on that for sure. UConn wise I have a Thabeet signed UConn basketball in my office.

The Thurman Munson cards I collected as a kid, especially the one from his final season.

Favorite UCONN memorabilia: 36 inch by 24 inch picture of the 1892 UCONN football team bought from the UCONN Meriden co-op store as part of it closing sale (it was hanging on the wall and not for sale) and my two oldest UCONN football programs from 1936 (vs. Wesleyan and Mass. State).

Favorite non UCONN memorabilia: program from the first final four in 1939 with Oregon winning it all.
