Hi everyone :)

Since every Dan Hurley has had more or less the same outcome in post season play I’m curious to see which season had the best starting 5 on paper.

I voted this upcoming season's lineup. The 2020-21 starting 5 was the most talented one (and last season is probably more talented too), but a lineup starting both Whaley and Sanogo is so deeply flawed that I can't vote for it

I voted for 20-21, but this year's lineup definitely has potential to be the best of the five.

It's just hard to see how this team will perform without Cole/Martin/Whaley. It'll certainly be different, but arguably better.

I made my vote based on where every player was in their overall development track at that point in time and I think 2022 is the best listed. If Hawkins, Jackson and Sanogo take that next step and Newton is what we think he is next year's lineup is the answer.

Is it bad I want to vote 19-20? That team was on fire to end AAC play before Covid ended the season. Vital was playing great and a switch flipped when Bouknight moved into the starting lineup over Alterique. That team could have made a lot of noise in the AAC tournament if it wasn't cancelled.

But I'm voting 20-21. If Bouknight didn't miss that time for injury, we might have finished higher in standings and got a better seed/better 1st round matchup in March. This coming year has the most potential and raw talent, but I have to see it work first.

2019-20 Was actually the best team but not not the best players. Probably because
Vital provided that leadership necessary to gut out tough wins. I can’t imagine them bombing in the first round. They were the most fun to watch.
Cole came close last yesrvbut as a transfer was in a more difficult position.
2020-21 had a great player but became spectators at times.
2021-22 Was extremely mature but guys playing out of position never achieves a good look.
2022-23 I haven’t a clue , Jackson appears to relish the leader role and we have some nice pieces. 3-5 new guys is always a ?

2020-2021 for me. Team had 1 loss in OT before Bouk went down. Think this year lineup can do great things though.

Can't vote for the first one because we have no clue. But here's hoping it becomes the best!

I think the 19-20 lineup started as
Gilbert - Vital - Bouknight - Akok - Carlton

Whaley didn't enter the starting lineup until Akok's injury and Gilbert was replaced by Gaffney later in the season.

I don't think Whaley and Akok ever started together. Possibly once or twice, but not consistently.

If the 20-21 team is hitting their shots they win But that's a big if

Yeah gaffney replaced gilbert but we were still best with Gilbert on the court with bouk, vital Whaley and whoever else. Polley or Carlton? Fun ride at the end of that season. That group developed great chemistry and then Covid happened

20-21 is the pretty clear pick, but if we can mix years:

Cole, Bouk, CV, Martin, Sanogo

A four guard lineup of absolute killers around Adama would’ve been a ton of fun.
