What is the best individual, single-game performance in UConn history?

Ben Gordon had some steller games in 2004. I dont have the numbers handy, but he was lights out against Nova in the BE tournament... i think it was 2004

In general that was one of the most dominant defensive tournament runs I’ve seen.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a player lock down the paint like Clingan did over that stretch. He was an incredible cheat code for us to have.

He has the most mind boggling season stats of anyone. He Lead the nation in rebounding one year and finished second another.

Toby Kimball’s 26-28 rebounds in an NCAA tournament game against a top 10 St Joesph's team that was a home game for them has to be up there
I believe St. Joseph's was #3 and yes the Palestra was a home for them.

Ricky Moore versus Duke in the 1999 national championship. They couldn't stop him or offensively in the first half and he played lockdown defense in the second half, particularly on the last two possessions.

Didn't Earl Kelley beat Syracuse with a buzzer beater in 1985? I seem to remember he filled up the stat sheet that night. I was at the game, but there are no game logs for 80s games on the sports reference site.

Oh the irony here... the biggest thing most remember from Donyell was missing free throws against Florida, not how good he was.
i am still trying to forget that team missed the final 4 that year because of that.

it's almost impossible to pick anyone, the significance of the game, all the various factors involved, shot clock, 3 pt shot, quality of team, there have been many memorable moments

In the biggest Uconn game of all time Hamilton had 27 points 7 R, 3 Assists and 2 Steals with 0 Turnovers -1999 Championship V. Duke.
True, but he was below 50% from the field. I didn't think so at the start of this thread but now I am leaning toward Clingan.

Caron Butlers performance vs Maryland in the NCAA tournament.

He was a warrior. The only reason we were in that game was cause of that dude.

He just never gave up. He left it all on the floor. Maryland just had some ballers. I think they won the tournament that year.

If there's one performance that shows the heart of a warrior, that's got to be one of them.
