Anyone have an answer?
Pedroia may have seen something in his delivery which may be the answer. We'll see. Hard to believe that he will not come back and we will see the real David Price again. He's had too many good years and he is still relatively young to be pitching this poorly.
It would be awful if this is the end!
The drop in velocity is the most concerning problem. He still generates a ton of swings and misses, and the "peripheral" stats suggest that he's been abnormally unlucky, but it's going to be tough for him, as a fastball-dominant pitcher, to be better than "good" only throwing 91-92.
Exactly - CC?
Price thinks it's the playoffs already.
