What did all you grumpy old farts think of the black jerseys?

I like the throwbacks and grey but black just doesn't cut it. And now it's nothing special - everyone's doing it.

Especially with dark blue trim.

I liked them. They actually reminded me of the road uniforms we wore in the early 90’s because it seemed like back then our road uniforms were a darker shade of Navy.

I said this in the chat. Generally, I’m not a fan of black uniforms for us given that our school color is a really dark blue, but I liked these. I liked seeing the Huskies on the front. Bottom line is that if the team likes them, I’m fine with them.

I knew that. I used to root for PC with Johnnie Egan and John Thompson. Those were my high school’s colors too.

When I was in the Air Force a radar technical instructor asked if I attended “any college” so I said UCONN. He said ‘why the hell would anyone go to college is Alaska?. I tried explaining UConn. vs UConn. But he was not the sharpest spoon in the draw.
