Funny how OC has disappeared into the woodwork. Up until the wrist sprain people were talking him up more than DD. Not throwing anyone under the bus. It's just how excited I am about what is coming back next season. Still everything depends on SN whose presence on the court is much more than the numbers he generates.

Valid point if all four of Napier, Boatright, Daniels and Calhoun come back. Each of them should rightly be trying to improve and expand their games, but unless Uconn ends up averaging 85-90 points per game, they are going to have to learn to maintain chemistry, work with each other feed off of each other. Plus Giffey, Nolan, Tolksdorf and the three frosh coming in. Fortunately, none of them will be needed to score double digits. They can all earn playing time with rebounding, defense, passing and hustle.

But it can only work one way. TRUST.

They have to believe in each other and believe that their individual talents will be noticed even if the huge per game numbers aren't there. KO should be a perfect match for them.

OC is a stud. he s going to score a lot of points in a husky uniform. imho boat should come off the bench next year so the backcourt can be bazz and omar which would likely be the best backcourt in the country. with DD at the 3 those guys can score a ton of points. with improvement from nolan and hopefully wolf and the freshmen contributing this could be a very very good team. DD is a stud, bazz STUD! OC STUD! just these three guys could combine for 50+ ppg.

I believe Omar Calhoun's greatest exploits would happen in his junior year. Next year it will determine how great that 3rd year will gonna be. It is likely he could become a beast in the mold of Caron Butler. Of course, just like every one else, I am still hoping his sophomore year will be his best. However, Uconn's title chances are best for 2015 with Calhoun still in the team, though. That's because Facey, Brimah, Samuels, and possibly Carrington are up there in the learning curve. If the Huskies reached the FF in 2014, I believe Calhoun might jump to the NBA. I hope not. Selfishly, I want him for 2015 where the title chances are brightest. And let's not forget about Nolan. And the 2-3 elite recruits from 2o14 that KO could snag.

If/When everyone decides to stay & if UConn does reach the FF, then I believe we could be in for a mass exodus. Our 4 Seniors along with Boatright & Daniels. Not too sold on Calhoun as an early entrant just yet. Depends on his contributions throughout the run. It can most definitely change. But if he does stay, his Jr. season is where he would be 'the man' a la Walker and we'd return Samuel, Tolksdorf, Facey, Nolan & Brimah and Coach Ollie hopefully pulling off a great 2014 class..

Sell the Practice Facility Ollie! Can't lose!

I think, ideally, we see Napier's and Boatright's averages go down a little, and their assists go up. And we see Daniels' and Calhoun's averages go up.

I think our team would be best next year if our best player is Napier, our leader scorer is Daniels, and Calhoun or Boatright comes off the bench so that we can play Daniels more at the 3 and get Olander minutes at the 4 when he plays.

People are saying next year's team is a lock for the FF. That talk is silly--no team is ever a lock for the FF (1995, 1996, 2006 say hi), but if they keep the current chemistry and get some inside play, this team will have a chance to win the whole thing.

If OC comes back with a better handle this could be a great call but the player we saw this year was a very good scorer but not yet ready to handle the 2G at all.........not yet!
