What are the greatest photos in UConn History?

Since it is underrepresented here. 1981 National Champions moments after the winning goal.

That photo brings back a big disappointment for me. I was watching the game real time and Coach Morrone ran and jumped on that pile full speed. When Channel 3 showed highlights, for some reason they cut the scene just before Joe got there. Made no sense, wait one more second and get a great visual. And that shot ended up being the go-to shot for years to come. Cut just before the wide old guy in the suit and trench coat jumps the pile.

Can we fill this thread with the most iconic still images in UConn History? I’m thinking about making a wall in my basement dedicated to all the great images and I’m looking for inspiration. Searched for a similar thread and didn’t find so please link if I missed it.
This is a great idea - I really need to do this.

Great to see the picture of Jeff King and Phil Gamble at MSG winning the NIT. Watched the VCU game at the Fieldhouse on YouTube that sent us to New York. Jeff King had a great game in a hard fought win especially in the second half. We have had great players for a long time.
