OT: What are the best sport logos/uni's in any sport

Previous Husky logo

I think most of MLB's "City Connect" unis are lame. But I've come to like what the Padres did with theirs. They're over-the-top ridiculous, which makes them fun.

Sadly they'll be retired after this season.

I'm sure we've talked about it on this page, but the Whaler's logo is generally agreed to be excellent by graphic design people. T

In my opinion sometimes these logo discussions are cloudy/confused by the success of the team. Well... the Whale didn't really have that problem.

Brooklyn Dodgers uniforms in the 40s were satin for luminous under the lights - pretty cool

That's nostalgia talking. That looks like the logo for a mid-tier seafood chain. It's not within the same stratosphere as the Hartford Whalers logo, which, as MexicoHusky pointed out, is universally regarded as one of if not the greatest logos in history because of the integration of the "W" and "H."

I agree. Cardinals baseball is best logo in all sports. Even their SL hats without the bird on the bat is timeless. That color red stands on its own. And when they baby blued.... even better.

Rocket City Trash Pandas. AA baseball team in north Alabama by Huntsville/Madison.

Lots of history in the area with rockets and space. Trash Pandas is another name for a raccoon.

Love the Dodgers LA. Love Pat Patriot even though I despise that franchise. No idea why they go with Elvis over that one.

The Celtics leprechaun is horrible. And the Dolphins logo with a dolphin wearing a freaking helmet is the worst logo in all of sports

I used to go to these games at Brendan Byrne all the time. My dad, brother and I would get tix for $5.
Love these unis so much. Shoots me right back to those days. I'd pay top dollar for a Chris Morris tie dye
