I'm less worried about the abundance of transfers and more worried about the disappearance of all the insiders. First @Chief00 Now Pitt's Chief equivalent.

If you're talking about Chris Peak of PantherLair, he's legit, unlike some other self-described insiders. I've met the guy a couple of times. He's hosted some watch parties at a bar not far from here and is an accessible, affable guy who actually does have regular access to coaches and players.

Highest I've seen is #24. It'll be interesting to see how he handles the final 3 games as opponents can basically throw everything at him and ignore the rest of the Pitt squad.

Pitt's crash in hoops was the most predictable of all the traitor schools. They had become a perennial Top 20 program but were completely dependent on NYC recruiting, which wasn't a problem in the Big East. Now they are just another generic major program trying to recruit NYC and they are finding out it is really, really hard. Dixon gave it two years before he realized it was impossible to recruit at Pitt without the Big East, and it has been a litany of failure since.
