I agree. Especially when he is open? There were/are so many times he is wide open and found myself yelling a the tv for him to shoot. He hesitates and looks to dump off.Hope the knee feels better soon
One or two max.
i actually think it is the opposite:Coach obviously doesn’t want him shooting many and the other team lays way off him and begs him to shoot. That’s the reason for the hesitation.
Took me way too long to get this.Hope the knee feels better soon

Got it! Thanks! Turns out I'm not a casual fan, just an unobservant Boneyarder.Check out his user name.
What’s up dude?
Aren’t you the guy who dies inside every time Whaley shoots? What’s up dude?
Similarly, Polley has never missed when he pumpfakes, and takes one dribble to the left.Whenever he does the toe tap with his right foot before shooting, it goes in 100% of the time. Don't check me on that statistic.
Shooting 41% on a small sample size, decent stroke, why not put up a few more? Really adds a new dimension to the offensive side of the ball.

No. I just cringe and wish he would stick to rebounds and blocks.Aren’t you the guy who dies inside every time Whaley shoots?
Yeah....I mean if he's completely wide open and has shown he can hit them occasionally, why not shoot an open shot? A wide open look, is still a good look, obviously it shouldn't be a core part of the offense, but if he demonstrates he can be a threat out there, teams will have to guard him further out on the perimeter, which opens up the offense in so many ways, and if that doesn't work the offense is in the exact same position it is right now.No. He doesn't. He shoots 41% because he only takes them when he's completely wide open and they won't come out to guard him. It's the right approach.

You lost me at "small sample size." He knows his role.Shooting 41% on a small sample size, decent stroke, why not put up a few more? Really adds a new dimension to the offensive side of the ball.
Hysterical !!!Hope the knee feels better soon
