That is a great news ...
WestConn, this is where I used to live for 20 years, from 1980 - 2000, Danbury, CT.

Congrats and good luck, may this be the beginning of a great college coaching career.
I wish her well, although I must confess : western Connecticut is foreign to me. Where is it?

How long will we have to wait for an exhibition game on UConn's schedule?
UConn never played Tufts, and they were at least a top 10 D3 team.

It will be an accomplishment for Maria just to get them over .500 — last time was 2017.

Western is in Danbury, CT. Mid-town campus and west side campus. Athletic facilities are located on the west side campus. And they are good facilities.

1975 and 1981 grad. BS and MS in music education.

I did not go to westConn but i lived in new Fairfield for a few years and i would watch UConn games at the Brickyard.

Derby, Ansonia, Connecticut OWN. The most UNDERRATED UCONN player EVER/ She was cool under pressure, made DT look good, fed her where and when she needed it. 3 point shot as good as the best. Took a lot of unnecessary "knocks". Yes, she's one of us Nutmeggers--and I'm a fan.

K--if Danbury is SMALL what does that make PLYMOUTH or South Britian??
Danbury population is 87K, Plymouth is 60K as 2022. When I was in Danbury the population was, may be, 60K. Actually I like small town. I remember I used to go to Brewster NY then take the train to NYC when I was in Danbury.

I went to Kent* and (assuming I remember correctly) we used to do the same thing for NYC trips. Wasn't a bad ride at all.

*Definitely a small town, but gorgeous place to live for those who can afford it!
