West Virginia @ Baylor - 2/26/18

So classless of Foxsports...OT involving a 16-12 team against a 15-12 team, Then they have a program alert saying the woman's basketball game will start on FS2, but it isn't, so why not put the men's game on FS2 and show the women's game where it's supposed to be, on FS1

WBB has shown up on FS2...but still...

Hope she's okay. Her one-legged exit was impressive. Directly to the tunnel. Post news if you have it. Great athlete!

They announced she is out for the game. We probably will not know how serious it is for a day or two.

Pictures of her on crutches
Coach of WV hopes she's ok.

Wow, I didn't know that Dekeiya Cohen was a senior as well. For some reason I thought she was younger than that. Anyway she had a great game. When I saw the Baylor-UCLA game in person back in November, she was the Baylor player in addition to Kalani Brown who really impressed.

Baylor runs the table in the Big 12. A commendable feat even if it was a bit of a down year for the conference.

Not yet...Cohen said in an interview that they said a couple of games. No other news than that.

Any news on Wallace's status?
They won't know anything further until they do an MRI, probably tomorrow.

Heartbreaking to see her trying to cheer on her team and put on a good face while fighting back tears. How awful to be injured like that on what should've been a celebratory senior night.

Thank you!!

I have no words....I just pray she is okay. We need Natalie back asap!

I noticed Chou not in boxscore for a while. Didn’t realize she is injured. What happened?

Morris and Richards didn't play because of disciplinary reasons. Baylor very short-handed tonight.

Landrum, Cohen and Ursin played a career-high 40 minutes while Cox matched a career high 40 minutes.

She hurt her wrist at the end of Jan and had to have a pin put in. First game she has been in since injury. Landrum who played the point has been starting in her place.

Stood out from box score: Lauren Cox had four threes and attempted 7 in this game.

While I don't know the extent of Kristy's injury, I can tell you that it didn't look good. I'll be surprised if we see her in another college game. BIG loss for Baylor. Kim was extremely emotional after the game and just broke down. She loves her team and has a really special bond with Kristy.

Mulkey said if Wallace’s injury wasn’t serious, she would have got back out there.

In the cutting the nets down ceremony, it’s interesting that Wallace climbed the ladder to participate. Mulkey brought her daughter up with her on the ladder to cut down the net.

Mulkey has always brought her kids up with her to cut the net.

Wallace cried most of the evening after the injury. She is one tough girl. There was no way she was not cutting down the net.

The dreaded non-contact knee injury. I've seen too many of these lately and they don't typically have a happy ending. :(

Baylor's Wallace being examined, status up in air

Baylor senior guard Kristy Wallace underwent a medical examination on Tuesday after an apparent knee injury in Monday's regular-season finale against West Virginia.

"She's being evaluated today, and we will address any updates at our next media availability, which will likely be Thursday," a Baylor spokesperson said. "We will have all the info by then."
