That is a coaching delight, Balanced Scoring! I like kids like Fudd, Paige, Caroline, even Clark they are fun to watch. But great coaches seem to always figure out how to stop a Clark when that is the only scoring. With the current Uconn, pick your poison and your probably picked the wrong one on that particular night.

PV Ive been watching the games and the only teams I think will give us a game is Stanford and they dont have the guards we do.

South Carolina is long long ways before Uconn even has to think about them. First it's Indiana, Nc st, and then their toughest climb Stanford before if both meet in the final.

Actually it's UCF first, don't overlook anyone. That's what Iowa and Baylor did today, looking past the teams they had to play in the 2nd round.

I think Geno is going with a 9 player pressure defense-- with the rotation fluid depending on the situation. The starting five is temporary. Pressure is the name of the game.

I'm absolutely on board with that.

But the great flexibility is that Geno can also change up from that, or even abandon it altogether if it's not working. Hey, worse come to worst (and if Paige is Paige), play early season style (semi-pseudo-UConn defense and then everybody-let-Paige-save-us on offense [including semi-pseudo-UConn slashing and moving without the ball]) and we've still got a shot, against anyone. I don't see any team that has the flexibility we have here on in. I don't see us in a can't win situation, at any point in a game, against anybody here on in. Doesn't mean we win it but I like our chances.
