Imagine telling this fanbase in 2018 that our floor under Hurley is 23-11 and an 8 seed and our ceiling is national championship.

Half the board would still be bitching about him.

In a game we absolutely could’ve won while Creighton played out of their minds for over half of it. And we still have game(s) to play. We can certainly make some noise.

But, next year Hurley needs to step away slightly from the pure reliance on finesse/euro style. We need some dogs who have meat on their bones and quickness to add to our skill guys. I’ve said it before, but if we had a guy like Sion James on our team this year, we’d be so much better.

Personally I think Dan thought Stew and Ross would be those physical/athletic downhill drivers and defensive players. I think we’ll add at least one type of strong/athletic perimeter player outside of point guard.
