Biz Law is making an argument for next year's failure a priori, based on the experience at Syracuse. Since I believe that this is a much different scenario (and likely Coach P's last head coaching job, regardless of outcome), I will remain reserved to a posteriori views of our 2013 football team... ;)

Except for my constant prediction that we are going to go 13-0. That's still a priori... :D

You actually get much less credit for not using Latin in a discussion with an Italian.

As for "doing it their way", it seems clear to me and most now that PP recognizes he can no longer allow for it to be done GDL's way. We are now going to see how it looks when it's done Weist's way...

P thinks that GDL is better equipped to coach the OL than Mike Foley is. I am not concerned about P & GDL wanting UConn to succeed. I am concerned that they are misguided at best and incompetent at worst.

Until Weist gets settled in and defines how he wants the offense to look (and by default, how he wants the OL to look), I'm not going to get too worried about it.

Do I feel bad for Coach Foley? Absolutely. He was too successful to not continue to be involved with the OLine. But the new OC is going to define the line, in my opinion...

FWIW, I emailed Manuel back in December labeling it as a cautionary tale. I included articles written during PP's tenure at Syracuse which analyzed their AD's admonitions for PP to "make changes" in order to stay on as HC--- especially with GDL and how it all sounded eerily like what Warde was now advocating. He said he was aware of the past happenings. Let's hope so.

You weren't the only one.

Kinnard did not play QB at Towson. As a matter of fact, he played very little at all. He played minimally at receiver and on special teams. He had zero impact.

Careful, Dan. This is a family site. You shouldn't be viewing posteriors here.
