Scout is reporting that 2015 PG Aaron Holiday got a UConn offer on the 9th. I'm not sure if that is true.

I'll look into it. I haven't seen anything that said that though.

I see Scout.com has updated its 2015 rankings. Simon and Jeter are now 5 stars. Is Uconn still recruiting Simon as a PG bc they are still going after Briscoe and Adams?

It does look like UConn is after him. Rivals article out today says UConn's one of four after him the hardest.

I do not believe that we are after Simon anymore. His AAU coach sent me something that makes me believe that.

We are after Jeter though. I'm not exactly sure how hard but we are after him. His mom told me last week that we are still involved.

Yeah I saw that, Miller is a great recruiter. It's going to hurt Uconn's Cali to Connecticut pipeline. UCLA is in on a lot of the players as well.

Few years back it was unc vs uconn for recruits

In that period when Calhoun was recruiting better than ever before, UConn didn't win a national championship, but it came close.

AJ Price, Marcus Williams, Rudy Gay, Denham Brown, Jerome Dyson, Jeff Adrien, Kemba Walker, Andrew Bynum, Marcus Johnson, Charlie Villanueva, even Ed Nelson. These players made for top recruiting classes each year. They were of a level above the previous classes with Okafor, Gordon, Caron Butler, etc.

Jrue Holiday's brother.. I remember hearing UConn watching him last summer. Entirely new regime there, but I'll be surprised if he doesn't end up at UCLA.

Speaking of UCLA , whenever I've watched them play at home their place looks empty. I've also yet to run into a UCLA fan my entire life, granted I've only been to LA once but I still find that extremely strange for such a historical program.

Book Richardson is a great recruiter. Miller is great because he hired Book

Joe Pasternack is their lead recruiter along with Miller of course, Pasternack has been the one at the forefront for all of their recent signees.

Ok, miller is great because he hired Book and Pasternack.

I was under the impression that Book handled most of the East coast recruiting for them.

I'd really love to land Jessie Govan and I think we're in a good spot with him. For those on here wanting more size up front he definitely fits the bill. 6'10 250 lbs

Has anyone seen Govan play in person or watched more than just his highlights? Some on this board were knocking his athleticism a bit. Is that a fair criticism?

Did you see the video? He certainly appeared gravity-challenged last year. It sounds like he has made some real strides this year with conditioning, but I would hope he is racking up those stats of his against some good competition.

Oriakhi was gravity challenged as well, and he did his thing despite being rooted to the ground.

Arizona will out recruit is in Northern Cali because the Oakland Soldiers AAU program is very tight with Miller and his assistants. Southern Cali might be a different story, but Arizona has been pulling in 2-3 recruits a year it seems from CA.

Pasternack was an assistant at CAL for a few years with one of my buddies. They are definitely dialed in with the Oakland Soldiers and bay area HS hoops.

Wow, I'll bet he would almost look not entirely scrawny against that McBride kid.
