Weather is impacting this weekend's UConn games. Revised schedule according to Seton Hall baseball twitter:

Friday:

2pm - UConn vs. Seton Hall, weather permitting.

Saturday

1pm - UConn vs. Seton Hall
4:30 - Fordham vs. Seton Hall

Sunday

1pm - UConn vs. Fordham
4:30 - Fordham vs. Seton Hall

In addition, UConn baseball twitter reports that if the Friday game is postponed, UConn will play two games on Sunday. There is no mention of time changes should this happen.

I'm a little surprised they didn't schedule today's game for 11 AM. I feel like that would give them a reasonably good shot at getting an official game in. 2 PM seems like a roll of the dice.

Does 5 innings make it official in college as well? Would they just finish the game Saturday or Sunday regardless of how many innings they get in?

The Seton Hall athletics website reports that today's UConn-Seton Hall game was cancelled, as opposed to postponed. I've found that the word "cancelled" in collegiate athletics seems to be used when there will be no further attempt to make up the game. When a game is postponed the teams try to reschedule. We'll see if that is what happens this time.

The time changes never stop. UConn baseball twitter reporting that they are now aiming for a 3pm start for today's UConn baseball game. By the way, does anyone know how much snow fell on Seton Hall yesterday?

Tom Penders has talked about installing a Field Turf field at UConn if and when a new UConn baseball park is built.

UConn baseball twitter now says 5pm today. Seton Hall athletic website and twitter have nothing.

UConn baseball twitter also talking about Sunday games for the Huskies at 10am and 1pm, so they haven't given up hope on getting all three games in.

If today's revised schedule actually holds up, I'll be listening to a chunk of the game from the women's basketball games at Gampel tonight.

In addition to the game against UConn, Fordham also had a couple of games that they were supposed to play against Seton Hall that were wiped out as well. The Rams had their whole weekend wiped out with all the schedule changes. Yes, I'd love to know what went on with them.

Game 1 on Sunday, Seton Hall leading 3-0 top of the 6th. Husky bats have been very quiet. The bats were also fairly quiet in the 1-0 win on Saturday's game.

Ryan Radue relieves Kay in the 7th with a couple of runners on. Radue gets out of the inning with no Pirates scoring. Still 3-0 Seton Hall.

Easy 1-2-3 inning for Radue in the 8th inning. By the way, another Callahan Brown sighting, warming up in the bullpen.

Blake Davey doubles in the the 9th, but does not score. 3-0 Seton Hall victory. UConn offense had 6 hits and no walks, with Willy Yahn collecting two of the hits. With no UConn offense, the game time was about 2 hours, real quick for the typical UConn game.

Seton Hall only had 1 hit out of the infield all game. That's all they needed.

RBI single by Davey makes it 1-0 UConn in the top of the 1st. Davey promptly gets picked off base, helping to short circuit the rest of the inning.

1st and 2nd with 1 out and the catcher picks Davey off first. How does that happen? Big inning killer.
