Noticed the same thing. There was one particular play on a 3rd and medium, and rather than look for a receiver over the middle to move the chains, he looked for a low probability deep ball down the sideline and badly overthrew itRoberson had a typical Roberson game. Maybe it was because he was playing against a B1G defense, but I still didn’t see an ability to throw over the middle/slants or run the ball. I was thinking the farther he got away from his injuries his running game would improve. But…maybe it will against weaker teams.
I am sure he will be fired up to put up big numbers on UConn.
