Buffalo’s D is going to be a challenge

Yeah it’ll be an interesting matchup. On paper our strength is on offense, so going up against their defense will be a good test.

Then again, their defense was solid last year and then we put up 47 points

Obviously would have preferred Buffalo winning to improve the overall strength of schedule, but all things considered a pretty positive 1st day of week 1 for UConn no? It does not mean everything, but…
Delaware did not exactly show out against Delaware St, despite the win.
Buffalo’s defense is legit, but the offense puts no fear in my heart.
UAB looked weak while pulling out the win against Alabama State.
Duke was even with Elon at half and pulled away late (this game likely means the least with the time to gel and all that).
