I think there is some truth to that for sure. But when you get the chance watch the Miami-Houston game from last year in the Sweet 16, or some abbreviated highlights to that game. Miami picked that defense apart. It's why I was so nervous about UConn facing Miami last year in the Final Four because they had an high potent unconventional offensive attack.Virginia has 90…. In their last 2 games. Dreadful to watch on that end.
Houston scares me for just one reason. It seems their reputation to play suffocating defense allows them to actually suffocate at times. Stripes have a lot of respect for Sampson.
The point of everything I said: Houston has a great defense, but it can be beaten as difficult as it is.
Edit later: I would be remiss in not mentioning Norchad Omier who is a beast and man-child and rebounding machine. He negated in that Sweet 16 game what Houston is very good at year after year, offensive rebounding
