If you’re a fan of offense, stay far away from the Houston-Iowa St, game tonight… should be a good one though. First team to 55 wins?

Houston is the team I'm concerned with the most. I think they could give us the best run. I'd like iowa state to expose some weaknesses and put up some points: They're the 2nd best team in the Big12 right now and cruising.

I am curious as to how Houston plays against a somewhat good team.
Tune in tonight at 9pm when they play Iowa St.

ISU won the first matchup at their place. I think ISU can win in Houston's place as well.

It is amazing to me that Tiny Bennett hasn’t hired some assistants to help him run an offense. I’m also amazed that he won a national championship. Such a boring program. With 2:39 left, they have 35 points against their rival Virginia Tech.

Houston and Iowa State are both big, athletic, and long. Playing hard as hell on defense. This is going to be a fun game.

Are we still afraid of teams?

The only team we shouldn’t want to show up is a bad UConn team .

Thats our biggest threat
Chill. Preferring not to face is not being afraid.

I mean is sort of is. You prefer not to face them because you’re afraid they can beat us.

Nobody is beating a B+ UConn

They're really not big though. Neither team has a big guy. They're both short teams, Houston is especially short.

^You beat me to it.

They play bigger than they actually are because of how physical they are(Houston)

Am I misremembering or is the stuff Sampson got fired from Indiana for pretty much legal under the NCAA now? IU would have had something special under him.

It was total garbage against Sampson. Might as well have given him a show cause for jay walking.

He is one of the best coaches of his generation.

Maybe I’m a glutton for punishment, but I’d love to see a UConn/Houston matchup. I think our size, ball movement, and shooting would really challenge their defense.

I think they’re one of those teams whose style of play will also lead to quite a few more whistles in the tourney.

And they are very athletic at the 4-5.

Kansas is a “somewhat good team”. The game at Phog wasn’t particularly close.
Here was my comment. “I am curious as to how Houston plays against a somewhat good team”. Read my comment again. I wasn’t referring to Kansas as the somewhat good team I was referring to Iowa State playing Houston tonight.
If you look at the Kansas-Houston game at the Phog, Kansas won by 10. The Kansas-Iowa State game was a Kansas win by 4.
My point was how will Houston do against Iowa State (a somewhat good team) tonight.

Houston is literally one of the smallest teams in the country. They're 335th of 362 in average height

These great "defenses" are nothing more than goon ball. There should be at least 30 fouls called only 12 called. These teams will suffer disappointment in the tournament.
