There was already a pretty significant gap in the rankings between us at #5 and Marquette at #6.

In fact, by ranking points, we were only 167 points behind #1, but 132 points ahead of #6 and over 300 ahead of #7 in the AP poll, and 81 points behind #1, but 76 ahead of #6 in the coaches poll. In other words, we are almost as close to #1 as to #6. And that's before the Marquette loss.

If we take care of business this week, that gap will be enormous. There is starting to emerge a top 5 (us, Purdue, Arizona, Kansas, and Houston) and everybody else.

His team is heading to the BIG. It's obvious he would have been better off if UCLA joined the church league.

At least he's at a university with a mascot that has an apt description for an animal. What's Cincinnati's excuse?

Mick doesn't want to admit that Cam simply preferred UConn. I think half these oh no, more NIL pleas are just excuses for coaches that lost out.
 
Some interesting games tonight with Baylor and Duke at MSG, undefeated Oklahoma at UNC, and a nightcap of Alabama at Arizona. Not too shabby for a Wednesday outside of UConn SHU, and Villanova vs Creighton.
 
Shoutout UConn/Marquette/Creighton for crushing it OOC and then spreading the wealth down to the other teams in BE play
 
Marquette looks like they're playing a high school team. Over doubling up Georgetown 65-32. Georgetown is badddddddddddddd

75-60. Decent Ivy teams always have shooters and can hang around. No surprises today. Wisconsin isn’t taking Chicago State lightly and Baylor pummeled Miss Valley St. Marquette over Georgetown by 30. Welcome to reality Mr Cooley.

Reality for sure. But according to our visiting Friar fans here at the BoneYard Cooley could have stayed at Providence but his wife would have forced a divorce and that would have been his reality.
He is a good coach overall and a solid game strategist, but he is being paid like an elite coach and he is not that.
 
PC butler game has been pretty gross so far. Not much offensive skill. Little Corey Floyd looks like he doesn’t belong at this level. Almost airballed a wide open three.
