Unless you think they're going to finish in the Top 100 NET or something, why? Last year they finished 314. They're going to lose more than they win—and so a loss to them could literally drop a team a whole seed-line. Last year even at Louisville it would be a Quad 4 loss. This year there's no way a neutral game against them is better than Quad 2...and probably Quad 3 at best.

I get it. But being down a starter, DC looking a little off, and lots of new pieces, I wouldn't have hated another tune-up while extending the win streak. I do realize TX is better for us in the long run.

We finish up with San Diego State melting down against Washington. Last second foul after leading most of the way allows Washington to force OT and at this point I'm done.

Georgetown needed OT to beat American
Providence beat Georgia who don’t seem to be good at all this year but hey
DePaul was handled by San Francisco, who definitely seems to be bad this year
SJU beat Utah
Xavier handled St Mary’s who don’t look good
