Syracuse Orange!

Hubert used to look young for his age, he looks like he's aged about 15 years since he became head coach.

Separation. Two more teams who will have a harder time leapfrogging us onto the 1-line.

It's us and Purdue, and then everyone else. If Houston had lost last night it would be even clearer.
Houston should have lost last night. Had Texas made 1 or more of the many FTs they missed they would have won in regulation. As we all know, missing FTs can kill a team.

Fortunately for Marquette, Jay Wright isn’t walking through that door
Eve Jay Wright's Nova in 2022, the team that got to the Final Four, got swept by Marquette. Marquette has Nova's number. They have beaten them the last 6 times.

I'm still not sold on Houston overall, but at the same time I feel they'd be the most dangerous for us, bad matchups and hard defense. Purdue might be better, but they actually don't scare me as much, I think we match up well with them with the edge.

If there’s an all-star team for players with made up sounding last names, Johnny Furphy should definitely be on it

UNC was 9 for 17 on free throws. That killed them

DePaul is so bad. And there are about 300 people in the stands. Low major stuff. They need to decide if they want to compete at the Big East level by supporting the program. If not then go find a low major conference to join. Big East can't support this garbage.

Dodged a bullet with him. He's not just disappointing, he’s downright awful. Meanwhile we landed the most efficient offensive player in college basketball.
He played a lot of minutes in the 2nd half and continued to miss 3s. He had one good steal w/a resultant layup but for the most part he just hung around the corner, and they never passed him the ball even when he was open. We dodged a bullet for sure.

Tennessee looked off. Haven’t seen too much of them this season, but they looked entirely too dependent on Knecht (who is that good, imo, for the record). Vescovi and the rest of the cast couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn from deep. And given they already tend to play slow… deep pull but they’re the type of team that could be susceptible, with the right matchup, to a 3/14, 2/15 type upset.

Yes definitely. Also, let's not forget their coach is a simpleton who once lost a second round game with Kevin Durant and D.J. Augustin on his roster.

Alleged attendance: 2,990. (Someone added a zero to that total.)

In more ways than one. If Timberlake was playing like Spencer, Kansas would be really good.

Should he have stayed at Providence?

Is Kansas that thin that Self needs to keep playing him? Kansas fans must be furious they got him.

He was 2-8, 1-5, 2-2 7 pts in 24 mins

The funniest thing is that no one aside from the ref and that one plucky Marquette player reacted at all.
You mean Seton Hall! Marquette played Villanova.
