Ken Pomeroy wrote a blog piece this week that was basically like "Memphis probably isn't that good" lol.

Most of the good teams they beat have proven to be not that good (Arkansas, Virginia, Texas A&M, Clemson have all come apart). Not a resume of a top 10 team.

Georgetown can’t miss. 8-10 from three a little after midway through the first half. Heath is 4-4

I feel the same way about UNC. They have the Tennessee win, at least, but otherwise they've lost all their big games and they don't really pass the eye test.

That guy Fielder for Georgetown is a blunder machine. Probably should be on the bench. Then again, they make so many ballhandling, shooting and decisionmaking mistakes it's almost painful to watch. Cooley must be wondering where to start in restoring this team to Big East competitiveness.

Winning tonight would be a good start. They are playing well in the Cintas Center. However, knowing Georgetown's recent history I am expecting them to find a way to blunder and lose.

Only following on Gamecast, but seems like a pretty entertaining one between GTown and Xavier. Back and forth this half, lots of buckets.

Jayden Epps is playing like Kemba Walker by creating his shots off the dribble. It's a duel between him and Quincy Olivari.

Gtwon might blow this. They play no defense. Now down 1 with about 30 seconds left and they have the ball.

XAVIER vs. GEORGETOWN was one of the most fun games I've watched all year!

And I thought we played the clock too much....dang Georgetown

Tough L for Georgetown after leading for most of the game, they will probably be much improved by the end of the end of the year

How come Pitino can go to St. John’s and win in his first season but Ed Cooley has a dumpster fire team? Is the difference strictly money to pay recruits?

It feels like Indiana should be really good. Their roster seems super talented but they just can't finish plays

They run a great set to get an iso with good position and they airball the shot. Or have a really good fast break and then drop the ball out of bounds. Or lose 4 seconds of their possession because 2 of their guys are fighting each other for a rebound with nobody else within 20 feet

Of all the teams that switched conferences the B1G taking Rutgers is still the most baffling to me. Yeah, I know the NY market. But nobody in the NY area cares about Rutgers! I know a lot of people in NJ and none of them care about Rutgers. They add absolutely nothing to the B1G and are just taking handouts. Truly baffling.
One of Rutgers problem is there name says they’re a small private school one of many .
The average non alum Jersey guy lacks that identity almost every other flagship state University has. it seems it would be very difficult to get state residents invested in the team like a UConn , Penn State , even Vemont .

And then they unraveled. Max Klesmit is on a personal 12-2 run to go up 17. Indiana guy throws an elbow at his face and gets tossed

Was a 7 point game with 15 minutes to go. Now Wisconsin is up 23 at 12:00

One is a top 10 coach of all time, the other is the 7th or 8th best coach currently in the Big East.

Yeah that plus SJU isn't exactly great this year. 12-6 vs 8-10.

Georgetown lost to X because they tried to slow play and waste clock in the last 4 minutes.
