Maybe this will cool down those who were clamouring for Texas to be top 5 in the rankings because they beat Stanford. This season continues to provide games where you just go hmmmmmmmmm.
I never thought Texas was good. I saw them struggle against New Orleans and they had Tennessee beat but their offense disappeared in the last few minutes. I watched the game last night. Teh outplayed them and Tech's guards had trouble using their left hand but still came away with a victory. If Texas is a top ten team, then WCBB is way down this season. I don't think it is just parity.Maybe this will cool down those who were clamouring for Texas to be top 5 in the rankings because they beat Stanford. I've been of the same mindset. But there were a couple posts, including a reply to one of mine, where they felt Texas was being disrespected based on the Stanford win and the freshman class they have.I never thought Texas was good. FWIW, I think this is right. I don't even find SCAR to be that compelling of a #1, they're just more compelling than everyone else. I do wonder whether all the COVID fatigue, state of the world, and everything else has gotten to college athletes and may be affecting the consistency and quality of play. In some respects, last season was a bit easier, because there wasn't even an effort to get "back to normal." This season, campuses are going in and out of remote teaching, there've been a million cancelled games, and I'm sure there are behind the scenes issues with practice protocols, testing, and limited freedom of movement to ensure COVID compliance. For all those reasons, I guess I'm not surprised I've generally been kind of underwhelmed by the top teams so far this season.I never thought Texas was good. Nebraska D may have played a partAnd combine for 12 turnovers. That makes it even harder to win the game.
IMO, a very good post. It is too bad players have to go through what they are experiencing today, in all sports and levels.FWIW, I think this is right. Didn't mean to imply Nebraska defence had no impact. Twelve turnovers for Hillmon and Brown is not typical though.Nebraska D may have played a part
It's time for you to start thinking positively. Change that to a smiley face.Hoping LSU doesn't get blown out tonight

Amihere and Cardoso out tonightHoping LSU doesn't get blown out tonight
SC still a better team than us. We dont have the talent in the post to matchup with SC. Gonna be difficult for us.Amihere and Cardoso out tonight
They won’t be. Decent possibility they will come away with a win.Hoping LSU doesn't get blown out tonight
BY#10 MD and BY4 Lou with easy wins12 ranked teams in action tonight
including 4 ranked vs ranked matchups!
We better get our fill tonight, because Friday through Sunday features only one top 25 clash (NC State–Notre Dame). Otherwise a lot of blah-looking games, in addition to cancellations.including 4 ranked vs ranked matchups!
I was not right about LSU getting blown out but my suspicions were correct about LSU getting killed inside. Don't have the horses to rebound with SC.They won’t be. Decent possibility they will come away with a win.
Burton was sublime with 8 steals including a last play when game still in doubt when she did a Paige and just stole Caitlin's cookies by knowing where she was going to pass into CzinanoNorthwestern still has Iowa's number. I found it, uhmm, interesting that Joe McKeown's daughter was calling the game.
Thought she did a great job -- never sensed a bias from her, personally!Northwestern still has Iowa's number. I found it, uhmm, interesting that Joe McKeown's daughter was calling the game.
More accurately, Paige has been doing a Burton all this time, as Burton has been a nation-leader in steals for multiple years now.Burton was sublime with 8 steals including a last play when game still in doubt when she did a Paige and just stole Caitlin's cookies by knowing where she was going to pass into Czinano
Don't forget she's the 2-time DPOY for the Big Ten.Thought she did a great job -- never sensed a bias from her, personally!
