Good comeback for Tennessee. Let’s see if they can go all the way.

They came up short. I am interested to see how they look against good teams that don’t have turnover issues.

Also, Puckett doesn’t deserve grief for missing the game winner. She has made big shots before.

They need to be a threat in the half court. Oklahoma actually kind of suits them. Because Oklahoma wants to run and shuffle players in and out of the lineup. And Oklahoma turns the ball over a lot. What’s going to happen when they play teams that don’t turn the ball over?

No, they don't, all things considered. In November and December they played a bakery-full of cupcakes and two so-so teams, one at home and one on a neutral court.

In January and February they have 9 games vs. teams currently in the AP top 25, but quite remarkably only 3 of them are on the road.

Iowa is proving again that falling behind by 20+ at halftime is not a good strategy. They've made a game of it but just about out of time.

Utah gonna get a decent win @ Iowa St. They have that bad loss to Northwestern, but otherwise have been solid.


Am I crazy in starting to wonder if Crooks is one of those players who gets her big numbers, but doesn't really make a team better?

And Maryland did their best to fend Iowa off. They seem to have a habit of letting teams back in to have a chance after establishing double digit leads. It could bite them in the end if it continues.

Of course, but they've been really disappointing this season.


This was only 1 game, but I think the stats are telling. Scored an efficient 29 and also had 8 rebounds. But 0 assists, 5 TOs, no blocks, no steals. Maybe she's not one dimensional, but certainly doesn't have the full package of skills compared to some other post players.

Rutgers better waive the white flag. First half was lopsided, but got worse in a hurry w/ 11-0 run by USC in the first 90 seconds to open the second half.
