At the end of the 1st, Seton Hall leads 28 - 8, hitting 4 of 7 from 3.
I thought that this game was going to be a bit more competitive.

At the half, the Pirates are leading the Hoyas 40 - 13. Valenzuela has scored one 3 for her 3 points.

At the end of the 3rd, Seton Hall will have a chance to rest their starters, leading 63 - 24. Valenzuela hasn't scored any more points but has 8 rebounds.

Yep! ASU wins by 1 in Utah to go to 15-0

A bunch of good games taking place today. Some undefeated teams won’t be anymore by days end.
Of the undefeated teams, I am excited to see the results from Georgia/Ole Miss (but not really excited to watch the slugfest live 😂). LSU/Kentucky is probably going to be #1 on my list after the South Carolina game. I think both of those games will start uncovering just how good those teams are.

Maryland/Illinois is another intriguing matchup though I suspect Maryland will be winning comfortably by the fourth and keeping that undefeated record for now.

I think this game may be more competitive than some believe. Illinois is getting good production out of their post players. They've had a couple freshman earn Freshman of the Week honours as well. The team is playing well from what I've observed.

You've got to be kidding me. Pillow fighting? Did the Ocho come back and ESPN didn't update the name of ESPN News? 🤷‍♀️

Another station is showing tag. Yeah, it's more athletic than pillowfighting, but still. . .

I feel bad for the Indiana coach. She had those really good teams for a few years; but it didn’t lead to the good recruiting classes it should have… now they are a middle of the pack big 10 team.

Duke found some offense. 51 points at the half. It's against Boston College though, so I'm not sure if it counts.

Don't worry Duke fans, even I can't jinx a game like this by calling attention to it. BC is too bad of a team to be able to mount any kind of rally. They've only managed 17 thus far.

I'm not sure they're even middle of the pack. They've started out 0-3 and they've been getting pounded. Lost by 20 to Michigan St. today. Surely won't be cellar, but the middle of the B1G is usually a huge log jam and quite competitive, they don't really look to be amongst that group.

Has Villanova clearly established themselves as the second best team in the Big East? Beat Creighton and improved to 5-0 today.

This is Reformation Week at Duke, The Protestants challenged the Catholics (NE version) and emerged victorious 100-49.

The second group of Catholics (Midwest version) come to Durham Sunday in an attempt to quell the uprising.

W Illinois and UT Martin going to OT after W Illinois hits 2 threes in the final minute to tie! Wow, what poise and what a meltdown by Martin. All the momentum is with W Illinois. The old Dandy Don, turn out the lights, the party's over . . . .

edit: nope the party continues on to 2OT tied at 74.

Soooo the Skyhawks even their record at 6-6 with the double OT win over W Illinois!!!!!!!!!

NC State put on a defensive masterpiece in the second half and ran away from Stanford, 74-46, for its 5th consecutive win. The Wolfpack Women had 4 players in double figures, and outscored the Cardinal, 42-20, in the second half.

NC State (10-4, 3-0 ACC) hosts Cal Sunday. Stanford visits Courtney Banghart's cavernous gym in Chapel Hill.

Georgia So in a dogfight against Old Dominion tied at 83 in second OT with a minute remaining.

edit: Georgia Southern misses the second of two FT with 4 seconds left and Old Dominion wins 87-84 to even their conference record at 1-1 as Southern drops to 1-1 in conference play. WILD game.

Watching the Cal Baptist UT Arlington game and the announcers mentioned this little tidbit. Three sisters the Reynolds play for UT Arlington and their dad is an assistant coach there. They moved from Indiana where Dad was a head coach for 11 years at a local high school. Last year the oldest girl was on the Purdue roster.

Very interesting ...

Meanwhile in game action as the third quarter winds down the Lancers lead by 6.
