Big South conference games start on Wednesday. Highlighted by NC A&T's first conference game, a home opener vs the rising power Longwood. High Point hosts its first conference game vs the Running Baptists of Gardner Webb.

In Big South action.... Longwood came into Club Corbett tonight... and treated My Aggies like a bunch of stray dogs with fleas NC A&T were down their 3 top players/scorers due to Covid-protocols..... and that proved to be a substantial loss. Final score 76-45... and from what I'm reading... it wasn't that close. Akila Smith had 22 pts.. 12 rebounds.. and 7 Blocks... mind you she is only 5'11. McMakin lead the powerful Lancers with 29 pts on 12-19 shooting.

A tough night for the Methodists at the hands of those pesky Baptists... Gardner Webb outscores High Point 26-13 in the 4th quarter to win 64-50. Unfortunately.... High Point faces off against another bunch of Baptists on Saturday down in Charleston.

Bulldogs went 2-1 tonight.... as the Bulldogs of UNC-Asheville down perennial power Radford 69-60. Last but not least... Charleston Southern rebounded from getting dismantled by the Powerful Blue Devils of Duke... by getting their first win of the season.. a 67-54 win at Winthrop.
