Out west, it's worth keeping an eye on Pacific vs. Gonzaga tonight. Someone has to keep pace with mighty BYU in the WCC. I wouldn't put Pacific past pulling the upset.

Portland struggled somewhat in OOC but now that they are in the comfy WCC they are 3-0 in conference.


Keep in mind Washington is terrible this year and beat both BYU and Portland by close to 30. Both will probably finish in the top 4 of the WCC. Outside of Gonzaga, color me very unimpressed w/ the WCC (this year in particular but that applies most years).

Yeah.. I've been a bit slack in my Big South reporting. The conference has adopted a new scheduling model to reduce travel this season. Teams are playing back to back games at a single site instead of the usual home and away schedule.
