It was a 3-year deal. Two in Tucson, one in Flagstaff, but she wants to extend it with games in both cities. The men have a 10-year deal, but I don't know if Arizona is going up there. I originally thought that the women did this because of the game in Vegas, but she said it was intended this way before the Vegas game was scheduled. It was especially cool since Arizona lost last time they went to Flagstaff during her 2nd season.Kudos to Adia for traveling to NAU as most P5 schools bully their way to solely home OOC games against the lesser schools, especially the in-state lesser known schools-just ask Kim Mulkey or Kara Lawson...![]()
They were also supposed to play at UC Riverside this year, but UCR had COVID-19 issues. They went to Chicago State two years ago. They have played at Montana and, I think, one of the Idaho schools. So, it is fairly common for Arizona to travel to a mid-major at least once a year since Adia got here. Needs to happen more across the sport.
