And then of course, the Delaware kicker missed a game tying field goal at the end.Delaware had that game won, but fumbled at the goal line. WKU drove the distance of the field and that was the difference.
From a UConn perspective, WKU got the stop our defense couldn't get.
Love seeing UNC getting smoked at home against Clemson. 28-3 after first quarter. Gotta wonder if BB will stick around long enough to turn this around. Reading on the Athletic that the belief is that they had incredible player turnover…and whiffed on a lot of transfers. They have a good recruiting class next year…but we will see if he can hold that class.
Watching Clemson at UNC, score is 35-3 and UNC has about 52 total yards at the 2 min mark in the 2nd quarter. Just wow.
After his first year, Eli Holstein was being talked about as the next Kenny Pickett (Pitt version). Man, he went downhill last two years. This new kid looks good with surprising game field. He doesn't panic in the pocket, seems to read his progressions well, can run effectively when there's an opening or pressure. Only thing I see a little weakness in is leading his receivers better, but other than that, kid is playing like a junior or senior.Anyone watching BC/Pitt?
Pitt backup freshman QB looks very good. Pitt defense looks very good also. Lonergan for BC is struggling a bit…but it feels like the Pitt defense is causing him trouble more than he is having a bad game. BC defense looks a bit iffy. Pitt converted a 1st and 35. But…it’s still early.
BC’s mental state might be an issue….will they be amped to get a win that may make them bowl eligible? Or will they be deflated with a 1-5 record after getting smoked by Clemson.Assuming BC-Pitt continues the way it is now, BC becomes a must-win game. Nightmarish first half for the birds.
10-7 early in the 2ndUCLA up on Penn St 13-0 early. Lol
They just aren’t the same team without Angeli.Halftime: SMU 24, Syracuse 3. Is Coach Fran going to make his players run sprints in Dallas after the game? What an ass.
