What is UCONN's best win so far this season? A win over the 3rd best team in the Triangle... the 2nd best team in Kentucky, or Ole Miss?

Is Georgia Tech one of the most improved teams in the country? Only six wins away from matching last year’s total in mid-December. With Dunn, Morgan, and Carnegie they have the guards to hang with anyone outside the top five or six teams.
And as usual, you never know what you're going to get from UNC.

TCU shook up their starting lineup. Conner and Hunter out, Emma-Nnopu and Jovanovic in. Not sure that was necessary. Really wasn't gonna matter who they started today against LA Tech.

Van Lith w/ 23 on only 10 shots today, pretty darn efficient. Conner 18 off the bench.

There's been a Jersey Wolfenbarger sighting. Looks like she's having her most productive game since...ever?

Texas Tech edged Arkansas on the road. Hogs fall to 6-6, Raiders are 10-2.

Good thing I didn't make a bold prediction. Radford jumped out to a 6-3 lead out of the gate against VA Tech. Hokies on a little 46-10 run ever since.

Oof, USC over Elon 86-30. The Phoenix only scored in double figures in one quarter.

edit--Juju w/ 26, only 7-18 shooting but 11-12 from the FT line

Oregon St. getting run off their floor by UC Irvine. They simply can't score. 32 points late in Q4. They might be lucky to even finish middle of the pack in the WCC this year, and that's setting the bar pretty low.

Adair well on her way to the three peat in 20 loss seasons as the Devils are trailing U Davis .....wait for it 20-22 as ASU ends the half shooting one for 10 against the mighty Aggies. In the first half Adair's team shoots 24% and has twice as many turnovers as assists.

U Davis ranked 155 by Massey and a 6 point dog is grateful to be playing this Sun Devil squad. The Aggie coach in reviewing the tape of the porous three-point defense implemented by Adair encouraged her team to launch 14 threes in the first half. The Sun Devils are in the game because only three of those shots landed.

The Aggie announcers (students?)were correct in their discussion of ASU when they mentioned the legendary CTT and Jaylen Brown's nickname....Ice. They also had done their research as they shared that the Sun Devils were preseason ranked 15th in the 16th team Big 12 slightly ahead of the Houston cougars.

However I'm wondering what planet they were on when they both indicated that the Aggie defense was impressive in the face of a very potent ASU offense. Now that I think about it maybe the announcers were referring to ASU's football team because the Sun Devil WBB offense has been anything but potent.

Oregon St. "exploded" for 19 in the 4th quarter, only lost 60-48. In a season as bad as this is shaping up to be, I guess you have to go hunting for moral victories.

Damn, this is chalking up to be a rough year for a NWHoopsFan, between the Zags being down, OSU and Wazzu getting hosed by realignment, Langley being Langley, and Graves sending his coaching prospects into an early Grave. And as you noted, even Eastern Washington is down this year. Is Portland your best hope at salvation?

Could be. I've only ever had a mild amount of affection for the Pilots, but might need to stretch and limber up a bit for a possible attempt to jump on the band wagon. I have been in their gym a couple times, they used to host a cool Washington vs. Oregon high school all star game. Saw a few notable players back in the day like Jason Terry, Michael Dickerson and Michael Doleac.

Yep, Aggies knew what they had to do and adjust and which was merely hit the wide open looks from three land as they come out on a 10-4 run to start the third quarter.

Bone headed play or weak, kitties level coaching..... With 6 minutes gone in the third quarter the Devils most effective offensive player Ice Brown picks up her fourth foul 60 ft from the hoop. Then..... With the shot clock winding down the Devil's foul with one second left sending the Aggies to the line. You say tomato I say tomato.

In any event the 4th quarter opens with the Aggies leading 42-34.
