Week 6: Dec 8 - 14

This Baylor team certainly was able to parlay that ONE win over Duke into fooling far too many voters they are actually good. They only played one other team with a pulse-Iowa and lost at HOME so I was always dubious about this team and Collen's coaching (or lack) credentials.

She's gotten some talent to go there but I am not sure there is a scheme or philosophy in place-either offensively or defensively. The AD that lost Mulkey and hired Collen, Mark Rhoades just resigned under unknown circumstances so the new AD may not be as inclined to prop Collen up when her contract expires.

Really really bad looking ankle injury, and no, I'm not posting the picture, because, ick.

What’s this weird camera angle for Seton Hall/Auburn? Some weird Birds Eye view.

Can't wait for conference play to start and these schools that I don't think are actually colleges or universities to stop appearing on schedules. On today's slate: Lourdes University, Ripon College, Champion Christian, Christopher Newport University, Mars Hill (I remember that being a faddish chain of churches at one point). Never heard of any of these schools prior to today.

Winthrop. Has anybody outside the Carolinas ever heard of them. Up by 60 at the end of three. Will the Vols try to work on a half court offense?
28 assist today. Winthrop is off to its best start since 2013.

Louisville led almost all game but couldn’t close the deal, … then both teams decided to try to blow it.

I was wondering. Your post made it seem like the game was final, then I saw it was in OT.

UNC committed a turnover and missed several FTs in the final minute. Should’ve won.

Last 6-7 mins of this game has not been a thing of beauty.

Is Louisville the top team in the ACC?

.-.
Iowa State at 11-0 working to keep pace with the Arizona State Sun Devils with a double digit lead over Northern Iowa in Ames

Olivia Miles w/ another triple double. It was against Jacksonville, but I think it still officially counts. She's gotta be climbing up the career list in that category. Ionescu is miles ahead of anybody else, I'm assuming Clark is in second by a fairly wide margin, not sure after that.

You jinxed them so hard they didn't manage to score a single point in OT.
Since you're the king of jinxes, you should know that's not technically a jinx. Jinxes require making claims or inferences about future performance based on present performance, or making categorical, gamewide assessments before the game is over. Those claims were all strictly cabined to past performance....

But I get that you're desperately trying to toss your jinx juju onto someone else like a steaming hot potato!

My original post, since edited, had Lou as having lost.
