Monday
Butler @ Houston (Houston -10)
OSU @ Seton Hall (SH -2.5)
Illinois @ Cincy (Illinois -9.5)

UCLA and Gonzaga both play today and then play each other tomorrow.
Are they in a Tournament?

Houston v Butler should interesting, think Houston whips them though.

Rutgers lost again. Don't know about changing personnel this year, but results sure look different early from last year. And to think of all the NBA players that coaching staff has worked with.

Tuesday
Wisconsin vs. Houston
Illinois vs. K. State
Cincinnati vs. Arkansas

Highlight of the night!!!
Gonzaga vs. UCLA
Who do you got????

So down goes ND late last night to St Mary's. I'll see if I can catch a replay today so I don't know what happened other than they outscored ND in the second half by the margin of victory and they appear to have been in some foul trouble. But that's normal against Notre Dame. Good win and another mid major takes down another p5 paper tiger.

Yeah uh whoever said there wasn’t a team in the country that looks unbeatable this year…. See Gonzaga

And there's boneyarders who don't want the Zags in the Big East.

Gonzaga on pace to win 114-46.
Timme on pace to still be the biggest piece of crap as well. He’s consistent and the refs treat him like an untouchable. Nice player but impossible to root for.

Gonzaga is REALLY good, but I stand behind my preseason assertion that UCLA is overrated. The PAC looks awful so they'll put up a gaudy record and get a 1 seed, only to be knocked out by the 8/9 seed.

St Mary’s has a nice team they hammered Oregon tonight to go to 6-0.

Yeah I was going to note that exactly St Mary’s a very nice team. Another noteworthy player from this week thus far is Johnny Davis at Wisconsin. Wow kids got game for sure carried them to their win almost singlehandedly over Houston yesterday.

Virginia is not that good and struggles to score often but once again they will defend the crap out of you for 40.

Houston falls, Carlton with 2 points in 11 minutes and 3 fouls
That’s on Sampson , In these tournaments where you play every day you can’t afford to celebrate a win come out flat and spot a team 20 points.

He's the one that was out when Marquette beat them.

Anyone watching the Memphis Va Tech game?
Curious as to how good you think #9 ranked Tigers are.

I think right now they meet the profile of a team destined to get knocked out before the S16. Maybe an upset special in RD 1. Probably around four loses give or take one on either side and a #4/5 vs #13/12 matchup. Maybe they play Chattanooga or something in RD 1? Fitting matchup and one that Memphis could lose. If they survive that one then they play a team like BYU and lose.

I don't get all the Memphis hate on this board. I think the team is fine and I like Hardaway as a coach, although I think he is a bit too rigid. Of all the teams in college basketball to be a hater against, I don't get why so many posters on this team landed on them.

Of the 12 guys who have played at least 10% of the team's minutes, 10 of them have turnover rates above 23%. The freedom to throw the ball around is largely an intentional part of the system, but personally I think the team would be better served with a bit more organization.

Great defensive coach, though.
