Week 3 games (Dec. 7-13)

Stanford schedule update:

UC Davis @ Stanford 12/11 is canceled.
Stanford @ Cal 12/13 7pm PST is still on, apparently.
Stanford @ Pacific 12/15 6pm PST has been added, per announcement from Pacific.

Stanford is going to decimate Cal...it will be my chance to see if Cal is really the worst of the P5 schools. Also in the running are Colorado, Vandy, Auburn and LSU. The usual suspects of Pitt and Wisconsin still need to be seen but I suspect they are better than last year.

Ok, so I have a question for any of my fellow New Englanders on this forum. How or what is the best way to get the Big10 network? I have an ESPN+ and Sling Orange streaming so I get ACC, SEC, PAC12, BIG12 and even the AAC. SNY will give me the UConn games and if so compelled, I have the Foxsports app to get whatever BigEast games appear. Thoughts? :)

Cal had problems with poor recruiting at the end of the previous coach's tenure, plus transfers out, leaving the team with mostly freshmen and sophs. The roster shows one junior and one senior, and I'm not even sure they are available, as some players are out for the season with injuries. On the bright side for the future, the large freshman class looks good with 4 top-100 players including #13.

Of those you name, I think Vandy is the worst and should finish behind LSU and Auburn in conf.

A all-NC Methodist matchup tonight..... The Battling Bishops fresh off their upset of UNCG... meet up with High Point at 6pm. Game is on ESPN+ if anyone else wishes to watch.

The ACCN Halftime show is the same show that was on this past weekend, an interview with Muffet.

I noticed that. I guess it bears repeating that "she's going out, having fun and not having to tell her friends to call her in May."

Elon called a quick timeout after Jakia Brown-Turner hits her first THREE of the game to push the NC State lead to 47-28. 8:49 left 3rd quarter.

If transitive properties work it's a 60 point margin (common opponent Washington). But somebody will probably say throw out the record books in rivalry games. I'm still picking the 'Furd in a beatdown.

Oh, and I don't think there's any way Colorado is as bad as Cal.

UCLA hit 10-20 3's and wiped the floor w/ UCSB. Watch out if the Bruins actually start shooting the ball well. Horvat had maybe the best game of her injury plagued career w/ 17 pts/12 reb.

Well the final score does not indicate how interesting the game got in the 4th quarter but Virginia played better than I was expecting. Miller, while showing talent was also turnover happy and erratic too much of the time.
My take away is Clemson is not so great as their 6-0 record suggests. Plus, by posting I put this thread back at the top of the page to not hunt for the other game times and locations.;)

So is Kansas St. over South Dakota St. actually a fairly big upset? 62-53, SDSU ranked #22.

edit--the Jackrabbits had beaten Iowa St., Creighton and Gonzaga to start the season.

I haven't been paying a lot of attention, but Ohio St. has been thumping some of their non con opponents. Beat up Miami OH tonight 104-65, Juhasz had 27 pts/15 reb.
