Jimbo Fisher has an insane buyout, right? Otherwise, why hasn’t A&M fired him?

Nebraska is 0-2 with a loss to Minnesota and a blowout loss to Colorado. The Cornhuskers have not been a nationally competitive program since the end of the Pellini era, and even then they were barely Top 25 then. You have to go back to Solich to find a Nebraska team that finished the season in the Top 10. Riley was successful at Oregon State, Frost had been successful at UCF, and Ruhle has been very successful at Temple and Baylor. This may just be who Nebraska is now.
Rhule's first season at Baylor was just as bad his first season so far at Nebraska. He's a really good HC and he'll get them competitive, but Nebraska is never going to Nebraska of the 90s again.

I thought I remembered the terms of his contract being completely guaranteed back when he was hired. I am not sure if that is true, but it has to be a huge buyout. Their fans have to be losing it. He is 6 years in, and they definitely expected more. They got dominated yesterday, and if Miami had not handed them a couple of touchdowns early on with special teams errors, A and M might have lost by 4 touchdowns. Throw in Texas beating Alabama, and it is a brutal morning to be an Aggie fan.

Using 5/2/0 for wins and -1/-3/-5 for losses:
PAC = 47
BiG = 29
SEC = 27
ACC = 22
B12 = 22

It’s almost like hiring someone who went 5-6 before arriving (14-10 in ACC in last 3 years) wasn’t worth a zillion dollars.

Not sure if anyone mentioned these or not, but someone asked about the FIU quarterback. In their 46-39 win over N Texas State yesterday, Keyone Jenkins was 20/32 for 291 yards , 1 TD, 1 INT. Also (gulp) 10 carries for 101 yards and 3 TD's.

Also, In Wagner's shutout loss to Navy, Stephen Krajewski was 7/12 for 43 yards (plus one carry for 8 yards). He was one of two QB's for Wagner, so I'm not sure if he was the starter or came in late. He was listed 2nd, but sometimes they list the guy with the most yards in the first position. Of 18 completions by the two QB's, eight went to Mark Didio, Jr. who transferred out of UConn earlier this year. He now has 13 catches in two games for 96 yards.

You read the box score wrong. It was RB Kejon Owens who rushed for 101 yds and 3 TD’s.

It looks like FIU made a QB switch in week 2 after the the week 1 loss to LA Tech. Grayson James - who’s IS a running QB and who started against us last year was the week 1 starter and was absolutely awful. I watched the game. He was 5/14 for a grand total of 4 yards passing in the loss to LA Tech. He was replaced in week 2 by Keyone Jenkins. And FIU has gone 2-0 since the change. Jenkins seems to more of a passer but I have not seen FIU since week 1.
