Week 2 games

Maybe I am just getting old, but I feel like a lot more players these days pull up during plays and become spectators. UVa had a wide open receiver on 4th and 20 and he was overthrown, but the receiver definitely pulled up a little halfway through his route, and then tried to catch up to the ball. If he had sprinted through the route he would have had a good chance of catching the ball.

Tulane's secondary let up when Ole Miss went to an underneath receiver on 3rd down around the Tulane 17. The ball bounced off the receiver's shoulder pads and was potentially catchable by the Tulane Safety, but he wasn't playing to the whistle so the ball hit the ground. Ole Miss kicked a FG on 4th.

what's the deal with this? Espn says delayed the past 2+ hours

Both Ole Miss and Tulane load up in the Transfer Portal.

I have to think hard to find a coach who was as wrong about anything as Edsall was about the Transfer Portal.
Edsall new he was going to lose all his good players to the portal because of his ego. That's why he was so against it

Cincy running all over Pitt. Never heard of this RB Kiner, but he looks pretty damned good.

Nebraska is 0-2 with a loss to Minnesota and a blowout loss to Colorado. The Cornhuskers have not been a nationally competitive program since the end of the Pellini era, and even then they were barely Top 25 then. You have to go back to Solich to find a Nebraska team that finished the season in the Top 10. Riley was successful at Oregon State, Frost had been successful at UCF, and Ruhle has been very successful at Temple and Baylor. This may just be who Nebraska is now.

Purdue/VTech are in the second quarter and I think it was a noon kick off.

It’s 2 games. Chill.
They would’ve beaten MN if not for a missed false start penalty on the winning pass. And CO appears to be top 20 or better.

Ruhle turned around Temple and Baylor.

He didn’t turn those around in year 1

Pitt's new QB looks worse than Slovis, who I thought was pretty bad.
Given we held Jurkovic to 3 points of offense last year, I was surprised Pitt went all on in him.

And yeah, Slovis was crap. That Pitt finished in top 25 despite him was impressive.

So...ACC better than SEC this year? Already 3 big head to head wins in Week 1 and 2.

Who is the best QB in the Pac 12? That is a really hard question to answer. Sanders and Penix both putting up video game numbers so far. You have the Heisman winner from last year. At least half the teams have a way better than average QB.

App State deserved to lose that game. They played for a FG with 1st and 10 inside UNC's 20 with 2 minutes left.

UCF beat Boise State on last second field goal. Rice and Houston are in OT. Oregon just kicked FG to go up by one with a minute left over Texas Tech

Rice wins in OT 43-41. They played Texas tough as well I believe. This will be difficult game for UConn at Rice but aren’t they all difficult after tonight?

Arizona just lost to Mississippi State in OT after a review took away a first down. That is the first OOC loss for the dissolving Pac 12. There are still a couple of games going tonight (Auburn/Cal and Arizona State/Oklahoma State), but through two weekends, the Pac 12 is the best conference in college football.
